Ever since my husband and I became huge Harry Potter fans,
we always talked about one day going to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
We never really looked into it and we definitely thought it would be something that would likely never happen.
To be honest,
such trip was never top on our list.
An amusement park is something we've never really looked forward to.
We love to dream big.
And thankfully we've been able to knock out some big places.
Chicago, Colorado, New York City, New Orleans,
and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Well known cities are what we crave for when we dream about future vacations.
Thankfully,
I'm so glad we took advantage of this trip,
because it did NOT DISAPOINT.
Two weeks before our trip we brought up the topic of going to Universal Studios and visiting Hogwarts.
We talked here and there about it,
and I simply assumed that that would be it.
Just talk.
He looked into what it would cost to book a hotel and package deals for the park.
Thankfully he found a package deal that suited our budget.
Eventually, he purchased our tickets and booked our hotel and one week later we were packed and on the road.
It was that fast.
And I'm so glad that we went forth with this trip.
It was everything I had dreamed of and so much more.
Not only did we enjoy it,
but my girls loved every bit of it.
I never realized how kid-friendly Universal Studios is until we got there.
I can honestly see us taking another trip to Orlando in the future.
Now, a bit of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
That place was uh-mazing!
The atmosphere,
the details,
the feeling of being at Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley was surreal,
and the butterbeer,
let's not forget how yummy butterbeer really is.
I'm already looking forward to going back again.
(If I remember, I plan to update with the pictures from my phone.
You bet we took that typical butterbeer 'stache couple photo.)
