My Lovely Girls

Another post I haven't updated in a while.
Capturing the moments when I watch my girls play.
It's been a couple of months since I posted such photos of my girls,
and I'm glad to finally be here.
My girls have been growing wonderfully.
We're happy.
We're blessed.
We're healthy.
And we've got each other.

My girls,
I pray you both continue to grow beautifully and wonderfully.
I love you both more than you will ever know.
Always.

XOXO,
Mama

Pumpkin Patch 2016

Well Fall is here,
and things have been pretty slow around here.
Yet, there is so much for us to do.
I've been lacking updating on here,
cutting back from social media has been refreshing.
Will I ever log into my Facebook account,
I'm not sure.
I kind of enjoy not having one.
I mean there comes a day when one becomes too old to have one?
Right?
Thankfully, my family has no interest in such thing.
I always said once my mother created an account,
(which thankfully she never did) I would delete my account in a heart beat.
It's crazy to see how many people's moms, grandmas, and so on use social media.
Any ways,
my break from here and Facebook has been something I've been enjoying,
I can honestly say,
I don't miss it one bit.
Though you will catch me on Instagram still.
As I have stated before,
I do print out those pictures,
so I'm always trying to post frame-worthy shots.

Anyways,
since October is here,
and the pumpkins are all out,
we've managed to squeeze in a few trips to our local pumpkin patch.
It has been one of our favorite things to do.
Today's trip consisted of having a pic-nic style snack break.
And I have to say,
it was just lovely.
I hope you all are enjoying all things fall.

Our Trip To Universal Studios Orlando

Ever since my husband and I became huge Harry Potter fans,
we always talked about one day going to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
We never really looked into it and we definitely thought it would be something that would likely never happen.
To be honest,
such trip was never top on our list.
An amusement park is something we've never really looked forward to.
We love to dream big.
And thankfully we've been able to knock out some big places.
Chicago, Colorado, New York City, New Orleans,
and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Well known cities are what we crave for when we dream about future vacations.
Thankfully,
I'm so glad we took advantage of this trip,
because it did NOT DISAPOINT.
Two weeks before our trip we brought up the topic of going to Universal Studios and visiting Hogwarts.
We talked here and there about it,
and I simply assumed that that would be it.
Just talk.
He looked into what it would cost to book a hotel and package deals for the park.
Thankfully he found a package deal that suited our budget.
Eventually, he purchased our tickets and booked our hotel and one week later we were packed and on the road.
It was that fast.
And I'm so glad that we went forth with this trip.
It was everything I had dreamed of and so much more.
Not only did we enjoy it,
but my girls loved every bit of it.
I never realized how kid-friendly Universal Studios is until we got there.
I can honestly see us taking another trip to Orlando in the future.

Now, a bit of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
That place was uh-mazing!
The atmosphere,
the details,
the feeling of being at Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley was surreal,
and the butterbeer,
let's not forget how yummy butterbeer really is.
I'm already looking forward to going back again.

(If I remember, I plan to update with the pictures from my phone.
You bet we took that typical butterbeer 'stache couple photo.)
