Tuesday Fun Day

What an awesome day we've had today.
We had lunch with Daddy and we went shopping right after.
Another Mama/Daughter date.

It's days like these that I just love.
Days where it's just Levia and I enjoying the day.
Instead of being cooped up inside, we go out and have a blast.
Levia loves the sunglasses section at the store the most, I never fail to lead her that way just to watch her try on all the glasses she wants.
She's such a darling.
Always saying "hello" to everyone and "thank you" when we leave.
I only have a few weeks to enjoy these days so I've been making sure we make the best of them.
Once baby is here, I know there will be moments where she'll feel left out.
Though I'll do my best to make sure she always feels equal, these are the last few weeks where it will be just us two.
It's crazy saying that!

But I'm looking forward to spending these kind of days with two little girls.
I'm going to make sure that we always have a good time.

For now, I'll cherish these days.
Where I sit out back and watch Levia simply enjoy herself.

37 Weeks

37 weeks of pregnancy.
2 more weeks until I am full term.
3 weeks until my due date.

My oh my!
How time has flown.

I'm so ready to meet the little Lady.
Anxiously waiting while she bakes a little longer.
I have a feeling she'll take her time and I don't mind one single bit.
As long as she's here with good health.

This past week has been going great.
The same usual pains, nothing serious.
Cravings are the same, watermelon!
I'm waiting to also get another box of Crème Brulee cheesecake.
Hopefully that will happen soon!
I've also been loving ice.
I love the cooling, refreshing feeling it gives me.
Along with ice cold water.

I've been keeping up with my workouts.
A lot of stretching, squats, and basic yoga.
I still drink water with Chia seeds.
Yesterday, I put the seeds in my oatmeal.
I love that no matter how much you put in your water or meal, you don't taste them one bit.

One thing I forgot to mention is how Organic Coconut Oil has been my best friend.
I use it to rub on my belly for extra skin conditioning.
I love how it smells, how it feels, and I've also noticed how it hydrates my skin.
I can say it's better than the creams I've been using.
Though, I highly recommend not putting a lot or right before you plan on putting on your shirt.

Levia has been loving on the belly lately too.
I find these little tender moments to be such a blessing.
I know she'll be a great sister.
She'll want to hold her, she'll want to help, and she'll want to teach her things.
No matter what, I will never let Levia feel left out.
Both my babes will be my number 1.

Here's to 37 weeks of pregnancy!

DIY Hangers Wrapped in Cloth

Well I finally decided to do something with all the extra cloth I've had laying around.
I ran out of stuffing a while back that making a doll or pillow is not in the works any time soon.
Instead I decided to pull out Levia's hangers and give them an update.
It was so easy too!

All I needed was scissors to cut the cloth into long strips,
a hot glue gun with plenty of glue refills,
and of course your hangers.

I wasn't sure how it would turn out since my scraps of  cloth are so random,
from crazy patterns to plain solid bright colors.
In the end they turned out lovely.
It seriously makes me want to hang up Levia's clothes and hang them up out in the open.

Here's what it looks like:

I love how the edges of the cloth started coming apart.

Love love love the blue!
I can't wait to put them to use.

I know I'll be updating more hangers.
For now, my hands need a break.

Klimt

Lately Levia and I have been obsessed with temporary tattoos.
I've had a pack of famous artists that I pull out once in a while and put on Levia.
She's been sporting a lot of Olivia the pig lately, that we needed a change.

Once I put them on her, she immediately goes to her mirror and check out her new tattoo.
With a big grin in her face, I know that she loves it.
Especially since she'll tell us all the time where Olivia is.
She's too cute!

Today we went with a Klimt theme.
I absolutely love it!

36 Weeks

Today we are 36 weeks and 4 days along.
Baby is still comfortably staying in with no signs of labor any time soon.

This past Friday I got some amazing news. I qualify for a VBAC!
I'm so excited and of course scared at the same time.
I know a natural birth is and will be a whole lot better than a C-section.
I am determined to not have another surgery.
I hope to make it to full term as well since 39 weeks is right around the corner.
I have been having so many Braxton hicks in this pregnancy that they are hard to get over sometimes since I'm chasing a toddler now.

This past week I managed to get my hospital bag ready.
It's starting to feel more real.
I do have to pack my going home outfit, not that it will be anything special, I do want it to be very comfortable.

I still have a few minor things to get ready.
For example, cleaning the base of our car seat, sanitizing/clean my breast pump, bottles and pacifier.
Everything else is all ready. I do also have to buy pampers!
No worries though since I did buy a small pack of them a few weeks ago.

This week has also been consumed by me working out almost every night.
It has gotten to the point where my legs are really sore the next day, though it makes things hard since Levia is so active, I am happy that I have been keeping up with staying fit.
I also satisfied my craving, watermelon!
I made some frozen watermelon pops with kiwi. Yum!
I also ended up finishing my Crème Brulee cheesecake. I'm so sad since it seriously was the best cheesecake I have ever had. Hopefully I get another box soon! I'll be one very happy pregnant gal.
I'm still drinking my water with Chia seeds and eating fruits is an everyday thing.
I wish I could have been doing all this when I was pregnant with Levia.
With my first pregnancy I learned so much.

I'm still having horrible heartburn.
But, it's only for a few more weeks.
Here's to 36 weeks!

35 Weeks

We're about 5 weeks away from meeting our little love.
I'm so excited!
Still no name for our little one just yet.
If my husband doesn't find one soon we're going to settle with one that I have chosen.

As of today, I am 35 weeks and 4 days.
My husband had a 4 day weekend so updating the bump gets left to when he's back at work.

This past week has been filled with lots of stretching, leg work outs, and basic yoga.
It's also been about having my water with chia seeds.
It feels so great to finally have my energy back every morning.
For a while, I was dreading getting up. I know it was because I took a break from working out and eating healthy. Now, I am back on track.
If I'm able to have a natural birth, I want to be at my best.

This week I have so much to do!
It's so overwhelming thinking about it, but I'll manage to do it.
Car seat is ready, baby clothes need some washing, bassinet needs to be set up, we need to order a swing/bouncer, and we finally settled on a baby carrier.
One of the few main things that need to be done still are clean/sanitize baby bottles, breast pump, and pacifier. I do also need to get working on my hospital bag!
Yikes!!!!

Let's hope I get it done by my next bump update post.
For now,

Hello 35 weeks!
