Happy Tuesday

Lately we've been waking up quite early.

It's probably because of our new home.

It's bright.

It has windows!

And it's quite bright.

 

But these past few days have been filled with so much rain.

I'm so over it.

Yesterday we caught a break and went to the park.

The girls had so much fun.

Rowan actually sat in her stroller like a big girl.

I think she really enjoyed it.

Hopefully I use it more often.

For now, we've been using our Ergo for everything.

That thing is my "baby whisperer".

It works like a charm when it comes to putting Rowan to sleep.

 

 

A small glimpse of our living area.

Still a work in progress, but I love it so much.

As you can see from the photos above, our bedroom is quite plain.

Hopefully within the next few weeks everything is done.

I've been working on the girl's room.

A few more things to purchase and hang up on the walls.



Friday Love

It's Friday and we're having an awesome day.

Though we don't have plans for anything, getting dressed up is always fun!

We're about a week away from moving out of the only home my girls have ever known.

It's going to be a sad day when that day comes.

All the memories we have with our girls happened in these walls.

In this home.
Our home.

At the same time we look forward to a bigger home.

We've seriously been needing to upgrade but we love the whole "minimalist" lifestyle.

But it's about time the girls get their own bedroom.

It's going to be a big change for all of us.

We love co-sleeping but Levia is getting bigger.

Rowan will most likely continue to be near me.

She has yet to roll over in her sleep, so until then, I feel like she's safer next to me.

I love watching her sleep, being able to be there to make sure she's doing okay.

She's all that matters.

On another note, I am so glad we'll be getting rid of our sofa too.

Yes!

We have purchased our new sofas and I can not wait to redo our new place and make it home.

I look forward to writing that post.

Thursday Lovin

 

 

 



4 Months Old

Happy 4 months of age Rowan.

 

You have been growing up wonderfully and beautifully.

At such a young age I find you to be very smart.

For a baby you are quite alert, napping during the day isn't your favorite.

I have to BF you to help you achieve that.

You are 100% a Mommy's girl.

And I am still enjoying that very much.

I haven't been pumping lately so it's been quite a while since you've taken a bottle.

You're still EBF and I am cherishing all the bonding we get through breastfeeding.

The way you hold on to my clothes or how you grab my hair and twist it around your fingers.

You have been teething for a while now.

Grabbing your toys and putting them in your mouth to gnaw is what's been helping you as you go through this phase.

I have no idea when you will get your first tooth, it could be a while since big sister Levia didn't get her first tooth until 9.5 months.

You drool a lot!

And I'm okay with that, you sometimes wear 2-3 outfits a day depending how bad you soak them.

Though some introduce cereal to babies around this coming month, I plan on waiting until you are about 6 month old.

Trust me, you have shown no signs of wanting table foods, yet.

Big sister Levia is very fond of you.

Always hugging you, always kissing you, always making you smile, and always making you laugh.

You two have some sort of connection.

And I love admiring you both bond.

Though you can't play with her just yet, she still tries to play with you.
