Happy Eight Months

Girl, I cannot believe you are 4 months away from turning 1.
How is that even possible?!

You have no idea how much we love you.
How much we are proud of you.
You are everything to us.
The center of our family universe.
The world revolves around you.
Your sister is so smitten by you,
she loves you with her whole heart.
This past month you've accomplished one big milestone.
You have started to pull yourself up to stand.
At only 8 months you have some pretty strong legs.
I mean, you've already been crawling for 2+ months.
You're still a Mommy's girl
and I am soaking every moment with you in.
You get so excited when Daddy comes home.
Once you hear that door unlocking, you stop what you're doing,
and you crawl as fast as you can toward the front door.
You have the biggest smile on your face.
You are still EBF with no sign of wanting to stop.
You love your food.
I make them all for you.
Some of what you eat right now are:
-carrots
-squash
-sweet potato
-kale
-broccoli
-spinach
-pears
-apples
-bananas
I'm wondering when you plan to take your first steps.
Will you walk before you turn 1?
Will it be after?
You have yet to say any words,
but I'm sure it's right around the corner.
