Bright and Early

Well today is just one of those days. We all had to wake up extra early since I had an appointment today to check on Baby Luna. Baby is doing just fine. Heartbeat is at 145.
I for once have been awake since 4:30 this morning. All the lightning and thundering was just too much for me. Not only that, I woke up with hunger. It was too early to cook though, I'd wake up everyone if I tried. So crackers had to do. Just as I was getting ready for bed, heartburn. Oh, how that ruined it for me. Today has been such a gloomy day, luckily the rain has stopped but we'll see for how long. It's suppose to rain all the way through to Friday. Levia has been holding up well so far, she's not a morning person so I wouldn't be surprised if she got comfortable and fell asleep. She tends to crash out on days like these.

25 Weeks

This week seems to have gone by too fast.
The weekend even faster.

I'm on week 25 of my pregnancy and I am enjoying it more than ever.
Baby kicks have gotten stronger. Sometimes she'll make me jump from how hard and crazy her kicks are. I haven't been craving anything out of the ordinary. One thing I have been making lately is Melon Juice. It's been a major hit here in our home. Tums are something I know I can not live without for now. There are days where they taste absolutely horrible, but I know without them I won't get any relief. Heartburn hits me when I least expect it now.

Sunday Beach Day

Another lovely day.
Another beach day.
So happy to have had such a wonderful day.

Lovely Saturday

I'm so ready to see what today will bring.
Levia is dressed and ready for anything.
Her outfit is just lovely.

I honestly don't think there is a day where she has spent the whole day dressed down.
I love dressing her up.
May it be a nice little dress or her best shirts. I feel that how she dresses reflects the type of parents we are. We care too much about how she looks.
It doesn't have to be the best of the best, nor does she have to look perfect.
Seeing her out dress me makes me happy.
She honestly deserves the best, she deserves better than me.
I love knowing that I put her first.
Because she really is.

Since it's Saturday, I hope we're able to have some outdoor time.
I don't think today will be a beach day though.
Since my husband made it clear the "Spurs" play today.
I guess we'll see though.

We're in a good mood that I really don't think anything will ruin that for us.
We also got a lovely package from The Land of Nod.
We love love love mail days!

Sleeping Levia

I think I have found a new hobby.
It involves me taking photos of Levia sleeping.
Yes, sleeping. I don't know why, but something about the way she sleeps is so beautiful.
At times I catch her smiling in her sleep.
What is she dreaming? What is she thinking about?
I have no idea, but she's such a sweetheart.
My heart just melts looking at her.
I've been loving the whole fact that I'm starting to wake up before her.
For a while it was the other way around.
Everyday, I'm in such a good mood.
I know, simply looking at her is just what I need to start my day.

I just have to post these from the other day.
I love Levia's gigantic smile.

Little Egg

Yesterday while I was making breakfast I came across a cracked egg in our carton. Instead of tossing it out, I decided to clean it out and fill it up with confetti.
I wish I could have done better at decorating it though. (Maybe the next one.)
I did use dye to color it. It was suppose to have come out a lavender purple, instead it looks pink.
It still looked pretty. Something about the texture of the egg gives the color a better look.

I saved the egg for today, to crack on Levia's head so she'd get covered in confetti.
She wasn't sure what was going on, but she loved the confetti.

I love doing little things with Levia. Everything is a learning experience for her. May it be big or small, she learns something. I'm looking forward to Levia's birthday. I have a feeling I might go ahead and make some confetti that day too. (We're going to make sure she has the best time ever!)

I have no idea how many times Levia tried to take a bite out of the egg.
No matter how many times we told her she can't eat it, she just kept trying.

Confetti in her hair made her curls look so adorable.
(I couldn't stop taking photos so I only posted a few.)

Her face below is darling, she was saying "oooooh" because the egg was broken.
My husband has taught her to say "awe, man!" and now she'll say it when something happens.
It's so funny.
